Job summary

Drilling Tools International, Inc. seeks an experienced Machinist to set up and operate lathes for API-related parts in Yukon, OK. You will read blueprints, inspect parts, and adjust tooling while maintaining safe, efficient production.

Responsibilities include crane-assisted handling, tool changes, and daily machine checks to ensure parts meet specifications. 1 year machining experience preferred; GED or HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret charts, drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to record tool specifications for quality and performance purposes.
• Familiarity with API threads and QC inspection processes.
• Strong adherence to safety and quality policies.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate lathes to produce machined metal parts.
• Crane operations, lifting and indicate parts as required.
• Check parts against blueprints and tolerances; gauge and inspect.
• Monitor feed rate and spindle speed; plan cutting and finishing steps.
• Ensure lubrication/cooling of workpieces and regular tool changes.
• Perform daily machine inspections and area clean-up.

Job description

Responsible for the production of machined parts including API connections by setting up, and operating a manual or CNC machine lathe, maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
