Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Machinist - Level 2 (1st shift) at our Urbana, OH site. This on-site role reports to the Production Supervisor and focuses on precise aerospace component machining.

You will set up and operate CNC machines, inspect parts, read blueprints, and collaborate with engineering to optimize processes while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in machining or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and techniques.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience with precision measuring tools and equipment.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and practices in manufacturing.

Machinist - Level 2 (1st shift) (Finance)

As a Machinist - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process, ensuring precision and quality in the production of aerospace components. Your expertise will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that meet the highest standards of safety and performance.

You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you'll work out of our Urbana, OH location on an onsite work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing operations, ensuring that we meet production targets while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in machining or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and techniques.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience with precision measuring tools and equipment.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.
