Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Urbana, OH is seeking an Assembler – Level 2 to join our on-site production team. You will assemble aerospace components and subassemblies, inspect for defects, read blueprints, and follow strict safety and quality standards to support aircraft performance.

Job Description

As an Assembler – Level 2 here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a vital role in the assembly of aerospace components and systems, ensuring quality and precision in every task. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the production process that supports the safety and performance of aircraft worldwide.

You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Urbana, OH location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the quality and efficiency of aerospace manufacturing operations, supporting Honeywell Aerospace’s commitment to excellence and innovation in aviation technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly of aerospace components and subassemblies according to detailed instructions and specifications.
• Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify any defects or issues.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace or manufacturing assembly roles demonstrating attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Knowledge of assembly tools, equipment, and techniques used in aerospace manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly instructions, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and standards applicable to aerospace products.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and basic measuring instruments.
