Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an experienced machinist to produce precision parts for aerospace applications. You will operate manual and CNC machines, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet tolerances and quality standards.

Responsibilities include setup, troubleshooting, and documenting measurements and processes. Candidates should have safety-minded practice and experience in a manufacturing setting with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating manual and CNC machine tools to produce precision parts.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and equipment maintenance to ensure efficient and accurate production.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for machining tasks.
• Experience performing quality inspections and using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.

In this role, you will impact the manufacturing process by producing high-quality machined components that support Honeywell’s product reliability and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders to manufacture precision parts.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements and specifications.
• Perform quality inspections on machined parts to ensure compliance with tolerances and standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot machine tools to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Document machining processes, measurements, and inspection results accurately.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Proven experience operating manual and CNC machine tools to produce precision parts.
