Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking skilled machinists to set up and operate manual and CNC machines, producing precision components for aerospace applications. You will interpret blueprints, inspect parts for tolerances, and maintain equipment to minimize downtime.

The role requires reading technical drawings, following processes, and maintaining quality documentation. Safety and accuracy are paramount in this fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating manual and CNC machine tools to produce precision parts.
  • Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and equipment maintenance to ensure efficient and accurate production.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for machining tasks.
  • Experience performing quality inspections and using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.

In this role, you will impact the manufacturing process by producing high-quality machined components that support Honeywell’s product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders to manufacture precision parts.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements and specifications.
  • Perform quality inspections on machined parts to ensure compliance with tolerances and standards.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot machine tools to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
  • Document machining processes, measurements, and inspection results accurately.
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Proven experience operating manual and CNC machine tools to produce precision parts.
