Position: Machinist (Lathe / CNC / Manual)

Location: Louisa, VA

Duration: Full Time, Contract to Hire

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Pay Range: Up to $30/hr. (Depending on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in either Lathe, Manual or CNC Machining. This role offers competitive compensation and opportunities for career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Lathe, Manual and / or CNC machines to produce precision parts
• Perform lathe operations with high accuracy and efficiency
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Ensure all machinery is maintained and operated safely
• Produce high-quality work within tight tolerances and deadlines

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a machinist, with a strong preference for candidates with manual machining expertise
• Extensive knowledge of Lathe, Manual and CNC machines
• Journeyman card is a plus, but not mandatory
• Strong lathe operation skills are highly valued
• Ability to lead and manage the machining department, if applicable
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to run and troubleshoot various manual and CNC machines
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Subject to a pre-employment drug test and/or background check.
