The role requires a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training with substantial related experience, and candidates may need certification. Includes full-time status with no relocation assistance and no telework eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years additional education and/or related experience.
• Apprentice graduate/ Associate's Degree in relevant discipline and 3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine tools (lathes, milling machines, shapers, planers, grinders) to exact tolerances.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches and engineering specs to determine sequence of operations and setup.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and adjust as needed.
• Modify NC programs and verify procedures to ensure quality.
• Assemble precision parts into mechanical equipment and determine material/part requirements.
