Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Fletcher, NC is seeking a Machinist – Level IV to join our manufacturing team. You will operate CNC machinery and HMIs, ensure safe operation, and contribute to high-quality, on-time part production on a 11:15 PM - 7:15 AM shift.

This on-site role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to TPM and continuous improvement programs. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and significant experience in precision machining, with strong safety discipline and ability to mentor junior

Qualifications

  • Strong safety and manufacturing knowledge essential.

Job description

We are looking for a talented Machinist – Level IV to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Fletcher, NC.

Job Summary

Works with relevant functions to analyze, design and manufacture complex components using machine tool equipment. Thoroughly understands the protocols of working safely with industrial equipment, electricity and other energy sources. Acts as a formal resource coordinating others. Quickly and effectively adapts to change in the manufacturing environment.

Experience
  • Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training and relevant experience.

Prior experience with CNC machining and working with HMIs.
