Curtiss-Wright EMS - SAS in Summerville, SC is seeking a Machinist Inspector to inspect materials, parts, and products for dimension, strength and quality. You will perform in-process and final inspections and prepare official inspection reports for government submissions.
Must be a US citizen with DoD clearance eligibility, possess a high school diploma, and ideally a four-year machinist apprenticeship. Strong reading of blueprints and GD&T is required.
We are looking for a Machinist Inspector to join our Summerville, SC location.
The Machinist Inspector conducts inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to established standards of strength, quality, cleanliness, and endurance. Inspection responsibilities include expertise in dimensional measurement of tight-tolerance machined components. Additionally, the inspector will support in-process, material receipt, and pre-shipping inspections with broad criteria covering cleanliness, dimensional conformance, verification of material properties (e.g., hardness testing), and packaging.
Hourly Rate: $32-$46
