Job summary

Stryker Group is seeking a skilled machinist to set up, operate, and monitor CNC and manual machining equipment in a manufacturing environment. You will read engineering drawings, perform quality checks, and collaborate with engineers and quality partners to meet production goals.

The role requires hands-on machining experience (CNC or manual) and the ability to work shifts, including weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years actively working on machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on machining experience (CNC or manual) in a production setting.
• Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends, overtime, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC and/or manual machining equipment to produce parts that meet engineering and quality specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and basic engineering drawings.
• Perform routine quality checks using calipers, micrometers, gauges and document results as required.
• Identify and elevate equipment issues, quality concerns, or deviations from standard work.
• Support 5S, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives within the machining area.
• Collaborate with team leads, engineers, and quality partners to meet production and quality goals.
