Ascentec Engineering is seeking experienced machinists to set up and operate CNC machines in our fast-paced, high-speed shop in Tualatin, Oregon. You will read prints, measure parts with calipers and mics, and manage tool offsets on Haas, Fanuc, Siemens, and Okuma controls.
Qualifications include a high school diploma, strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and experience with 3-axis mills (4/5 axis a plus). This is an on-site position with comprehensive benefits.
Description: Ascentec Engineering is hiring experienced Machinists at our Tualatin, Oregon headquarters. Qualified candidates must possess the necessary skills to successfully function in a quick-turn, high-speed machine shop. This position presents a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude/skills and an attention to detail with many avenues for career growth. Set up and operate a variety of CNC machine tools and controls to produce precision parts.
There are four shifts available:
Day Shift: Monday through Thursday, 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.;
Swing Shift: Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.;
Weekend Day Shift: Friday through Sunday, 5 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and
Weekend Night Shift: Friday through Sunday, 5 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
All shifts are full-time, and the off shifts are eligible for an industry-leading shift differential.
This position is on site (not remote/not hybrid) and not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship.
