CIRCOR is seeking a Machinist II - Cylindrical Grind for the 3rd shift in Monroe, NC. The role involves semi and finish grinding all ODs on rotors, shafts, ring gears, and some toolroom grinding such as arbors and bushings.

Operate multiple machines (NCCG, CYC, lapper) and use micrometers, dial calipers, profilometer to inspect parts. Follow instructions, fill paperwork, monitor coolant, and maintain safety and cleanliness.

Competenze

• Must be able to read and follow detailed instructions.
• Must be able to fill out forms such as daily labor reports and log sheets.
• Use mathematics and read fairly complicated drawings and specifications.

Mansioni

• Grind all diameters on rotors, shafts, ring gears, etc. to finish drawings.
• Inspect sizes, lengths, finishes, radii using precision tools.
• Fill out paperwork, monitor coolant, and maintain housekeeping.
• Operate NCCG, CYC, lapper and other grinders safely and efficiently.
