Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate milling machines on a 100% on-site basis in South Windsor, CT. You will set up, edit, and run programs, ensuring parts meet blueprints and work orders while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of machinist experience, strong English comprehension, and the ability to read blueprints. ITAR/EAR compliance and the ability to work without sponsorship are required.

Qualifikationen

• Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.

• Completes paperwork related to counts, scrap, time, etc. per policy.
• Maintains safe, neat, orderly work area and equipment.

About the Opportunity:

Operates all types of CNC Milling machines under the direction of the area supervisor or Lead Person.

Location:

South Windsor, CT

This position is 100% on site.

Responsibilities

• Performs set-ups and operates CNC mill machines and related equipment where programs, fixtures, and methods have been developed.
• Makes all edits and adjustments as required to produce parts to work orders/blueprint specifications/sketches.
• The ability to operate more than one machine in a cellular environment is required.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of feeds and speeds and a working knowledge of cutting tools and their application.
• Inspects work for all dimensional features as required.
• Produces quality and quantity of work in accordance with Company requirements.
• Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time, etc according to Company policy.
• Performs duties always exercising good machining practices.
• Maintains area, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly condition including operator maintenance sheets.
• Maintains coolant tanks and fills as necessary.
• Assists new and less experienced operators as requested.Observes all Company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety and security.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years machinist experience
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Must be able to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Must be able to understand and interpret blueprints and sketches.
• Must have demonstrated mechanical ability.

Physical Requirements

• Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
• Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
