Job summary

Stryker Group in Arlington, TN is seeking a Machinist I to support CNC and manual machining operations, producing precision metal components for life‑saving medical technologies. You will operate manufacturing equipment, ensure data accuracy, and support quality and production goals in a safety‑focused environment.

You will set up and run CNC/manual machines, read blueprints, perform quality checks, and collaborate across teams to meet output and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated CNC or manual machining experience in a production setting.
• Ability to read blueprints and basic engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC and/or manual machining equipment to produce parts that meet engineering and quality specifications.
• Actively work on machines in a manufacturing environment, ensuring consistent output, dimensional accuracy, and surface finish.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and basic engineering drawings.
• Perform routine quality checks using measurement tools and document results.
• Identify and elevate equipment issues, quality concerns, or deviations from standard work.
• Support 5S, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives within the machining area.
• Collaborate with team leads, engineers, and quality partners to meet production and quality goals.
