Job summary

Superior Industries in Morris, MN seeks a Machinist II to set up and operate manual CNC machines, develop G&M and Mazatrol programs, and ensure parts meet exact specifications. You will read blueprints, maintain tooling, and minimize waste in a safety-conscious environment. The role offers a stable day shift with benefits and opportunities for skill growth. The starting pay ranges from $26 to $32 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to read tape measures to 1/8”, 1/16”, 1/32” and convert to decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Knowledge of dimensions/sizing of common structural steel.
• Technical degree in Toolmaking/Machining or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual CNC machines (drill press, lathes, mills).
• Create/edit G&M code and Mazatrol programs; troubleshoot alarms.
• Perform machine adjustments and routine maintenance.
• Read and interpret blueprints for parts production.
• Manage raw materials to minimize waste and keep workspace clean.
