Machinist II | AUBRUN | Regal Rexnord

Description:

Under direct supervision, assists with the set-up, operation, and adjustment of conventional or automatic machines such as Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) machines. Works from drawings and written instructions to create replacement and new parts for repairs, experimental apparatus, or prototypes. Reads CNC programs. Performs routine machining to standard tolerances. Requires basic knowledge of metals and measurement tools. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience. Reports to a Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

1. Write, edit, and modify CNC programs.
2. Operate CNC machines according to engineering specifications.
3. Set up and operate manual lathes, saws, and other tools to meet tolerances.
4. Perform routine inspections and maintenance.
5. Troubleshoot operational and quality issues.
6. Ensure compliance with safety and operational guidelines.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
8. Meet production standards.
9. Operate multiple machines or entire cell as needed.
10. Maintain alertness during work hours.
11. Maintain regular attendance.
12. Collaborate with co-workers.

Machines, Tools, Equipment:

Work Hours:
