**Job Title:**Machinist II**Job Description:****Machinist II – 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday, 3:15pm - 1:15am)**Entegris is currently seeking a **Machinist II** for our Decatur, TX facility.In this role, you will perform tasks directly related to the machining of graphite, silicon carbides, and other specialty materials.**What You’ll Do:*** Work is job oriented, following detailed blueprints, customer specifications, and internal work instructions.* Operate hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and computers, (desktop and machine control varieties).* Operate powered machine tools such as vertical CNC mills, manual and CNC lathes, surface and centerless grinders, cup grinders, bandsaws, and other machining equipment.* Perform machine setups and/or operate equipment that is setup by more skilled operators.* Complete machining tasks within a customer job.* Routinely perform initial setup on new parts.* Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.* Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing guidelines to consistently produce high-quality products.* May be tasked with preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties.**What We Seek:*** High School Diploma or equivalent.* Possess math and precision measurement skills and able to read machine drawings.* Possess advanced knowledge of machining methods.* Astute attention to detail to drive Safety and Quality.* Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).* Work any shift as required to meet business needs.* Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus.* Candidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws.**Physical Requirements:*** Completion of pre-employment physical required.* Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. as needed.* Capability to ascend and descend ladders using a three-point grip.* Frequent tasks will include squatting, kneeling, bending, reaching, and standing.* Occasional work may be required in confined workspaces.* Ability to perform hand squeezes requiring force up to 30 lbs.* Performing repetitive tasks or motions for extended periods.* Maintaining balance and coordination, especially when working on elevated platforms or in areas with uneven surfaces.* Capability to perform physically demanding tasks over extended periods, often in varying environmental conditions (e.g., hot, cold, or humid environments).* Adequate visual acuity to perform detailed inspections or precision work.Lead.
