Entegris, Inc. is hiring a Machinist II in Decatur, TX to machine graphite, silicon carbides, and other advanced materials. You will work with precision tooling, 4th/5th axis mills, live tooling lathes, and grinders, following detailed blueprints and customer specs to produce high-quality parts.

You will develop CNC code adjustments, collaborate with programmers, and adhere to safety and SOPs while maintaining on-time shipments in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and tolerances.
• Accurate use of precision measuring tools and gauging.
• Proficient with CNC control software and basic programming concepts.

Responsibilities

• Operate 4th & 5th axis mills, live tooling lathes, grinders, and other machining equipment.
• Create and modify CNC code as needed for parts.
• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines to ensure quality and on-time production.
• Collaborate with programmers on fixture and program creation for new parts.
• Perform tasks in ISO 9000/14000 environment and assist with housekeeping.

## Machinist IIApplylocations: Decatur, TXtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: REQ-13134**Job Title:**Machinist II**Job Description:**Entegris is currently seeking a **Machinist II** for our Decatur, TX facility.In this role, you will perform tasks directly related to the machining of graphite, silicon carbides, and other specialty materials**What You’ll Do:*** Work is job oriented, following detailed blueprints, customer specifications, and internal work instructions;* Operate hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and computers, (desktop and machine control varieties)* Operate 4th & 5th axis mills, live tooling lathes, surface and centerless grinders, cup grinders, bandsaws, and other machining equipment;* Complete machining tasks within a customer job;* Make complex code adjustments within program.* Collaborate with programmers on program/fixture creation for new parts.* Create hand-typed CNC code (i.e., chip prevention lines, fixturing)* Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.* Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing guidelines to consistently produce high-quality products.* Follow weekly scheduled work to track with on-time shipping.* May be tasked with preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties.* Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals**What We Seek:*** High School Diploma or equivalent;* Possess math and precision measurement skills and able to read machine drawings;* Experience using a CMM (coordinate measuring machine) a plus* Possess advanced knowledge of machining methods;* Ability to make complex code adjustments within program.* Experience using programming software a plus.* Knowledge of advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing* Astute attention to detail to drive Safety and Quality;* Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE);* Work any shift as required to meet business needs;* Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus;* Candidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws.**Physical Requirements:*** Completion of pre-employment physical required* Physical requirements of the job include:* Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. as needed.* Capability to ascend and descend ladders using a three-point grip.* Frequent tasks will include squatting, kneeling, bending, reaching, and standing.* Occasional work may be required in confined workspaces.* Ability to perform hand squeezes requiring force up to 30 lbs.* Performing repetitive tasks or motions for extended periods.* Maintaining balance and coordination, especially when working on elevated platforms or in areas with uneven surfaces.* Adequate visual acuity to perform detailed inspections or precision work.**What We Offer:**At Entegris, we invest in providing opportunity to our employees and promote from within.
