Job Summary: Complete the setup, operation, gaging, and adjustment of various types of conventional or automatic machines used to produce precision parts and instruments.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ability to follow safety and machine standard work.
  • Setup of equipment through first piece inspection including tooling and material changes.
  • Machines parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.
  • Handling of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Communication with co-workers, team leads, inspectors, and management
  • Measures, examines, and inspects completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
Qualifications
