Qualifications

• Experience with Fadal VMC and Thermwood CNC Router machines a plus.
• Microsoft Office knowledge and general computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions on material or work piece as guides for fabrication.
• Studies drawings and specs to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece.
• Fits and assembles machined parts into complete units and assemblies.
• Sets up and operates machines on trial runs to verify accuracy.
• Observes machine operation for malfunctions and adjusts controls as needed.
• Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specs and alignment.
• Assembles parts into complete assemblies using jigs, fixtures, and hand/power tools.
• Installs machined replacement parts and performs tests to ensure functionality.
• Collaborates with engineers and production staff to resolve machining and assembly problems.
