Job summary

Axiom Staffing Group seeks a Machinist/ Hydraulic Cylinder Technician for a direct-hire role at our allied hydraulic service facility in Hallam, PA. The position involves teardown, inspection and repair of hydraulic components, plus machining cylinder parts and some welding.

Overtime may be required, and safety procedures must be followed. Candidates should have lathe and end mill experience, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with using a lathe & end mill is required.
• Hydraulic experience with repair/troubleshooting preferred, but not required
• Ability to work within a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and organization
• Strong math skills
• Hand tools required
• Ability to read measuring tools/gauges

Responsibilities

• All activities associated with the tear down, inspection, and repair and testing of hydraulic components
• Machining capabilities to manufacture cylinder components
• Welding as required
• Work overtime as required to complete projects/assignments
• Complete all training classes as assigned
• Adhere to safety regulations and procedures when performing tasks
• Perform other essential and related duties as assigned
