Machinist, High Purity - 3rd Shift Farmington, Connecticut

Major Focus: Set up and operate various types of machines to perform machining operations on both solid and porous materials to close tolerances. Fits and assembles where necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machining of solid and porous metal products to specifications.
• Machining of high-purity porous metal products to meet specifications.
• Straightening and rounding of porous metal products.
• Meeting high-purity visual and cleanliness requirements.
• Flexibility to change tasks and reprioritize as needed.

Expected Performance Outcomes:

• Meeting rates for cutting tubes.
• Job transaction accuracy > 80%.
• Manufacturing parts that meet dimensional and visual quality specifications.

Required Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school or 1-2 years of manufacturing experience in machining.
