ASSA ABLOY Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a machinist to produce and rework parts using conventional and CNC equipment. The role requires reading drawings, tolerance knowledge, and the ability to verify dimensions with calipers and micrometers.

Onsite work Monday–Friday with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. Responsibilities include loading CNC programs, making approved offsets, and performing inspections.

Competenze

• Prior machining or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Exposure to CNC operation, programming, setup, or training.
• Trade certification, technical school, or apprenticeship helpful.

Mansioni

• Read basic dimensional drawings and understand tolerances.
• Set up and operate conventional machines (mills, lathes, grinders, drills).
• Load, verify, and run existing CNC programs; make approved offset adjustments.
• Perform in-process inspection with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Keep the work area clean and compliant with 5S and lockout/tagout standards.
