Job summary

The City of Pocatello is seeking a skilled Machinist / Fabrication Welder to perform machining, welding, and fabrication, and to maintain and repair facilities, vehicles, and equipment. The role requires CAD/CAM knowledge, blueprints, metal properties, and precision measurement skills.

You will work in a shop and on job sites, collaborating with engineering and city staff, and must follow safety regulations and city policies. CDL and welding certification are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform machinist duties using CAD/CAM software and various machines.
• Perform welding and fabrication of parts and repair on equipment.
