Job summary

ADM Mechanical Facility in Decatur, IL is seeking a skilled Machinist for day shift. This full-time, hourly role requires machining on manual lathes and mills, with capability on CNC equipment, and reading blueprints.

You will work safely in a team, maintain quality, and participate in on-the-job training. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship and a high school diploma (preferred) are required. Overtime opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Able to work safely in a team environment and be quality conscience
• Able to be an excellent machinist on manual lathes and mills, and functional on CNC equipment
• Able to read and interpret blueprints
• Previous experience in machining and precision measuring is required.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit regular and prompt attendance and maintain attendance record in accordance with company policy
• Experience in manufacturing, production and/or similar military environment (preferred)
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Ability to understand and effectively communicate in English (verbal/written)
• High School diploma or equivalent (preferred)
