Job summary

Superior Energy Services in Odessa, TX is seeking skilled CNC Machinists to operate a CNC Lathe and supporting equipment. This role requires attention to detail, safety, and willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities include maintaining machines, performing minor repairs, and following QHSE procedures on a rotating on-call basis. A high school diploma or GED and 2–5 years related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of experience and/or training.

Job description

Seeking CNC Machinists to join our Odessa, TX team. This person will be required to operate a forklift and overhead crane. Eagerness to learn, ability to work overtime, and strong attention to detail are must-have qualities for this position.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate machines. (CNC Lathe).
• Experience cutting rotary shouldered connections preferred.
• Ensures machines are in working order and properly maintained.
• Perform minor repairs on equipment.
• Follow established safety policies and procedures.
• On a rotation basis, will be required to be on call when scheduled.
• Ensure full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant company/customer QHSE handbooks, QHSE procedures and emergency procedures.
• Perform any other delegated duties considered appropriate in order to maintain the efficient running of the department.

Education/Experience

• Minimum of two to five years’ experience in a related field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
