Job summary

Barnes Aerospace West Chester OEM is seeking Machinists. In this role you will set-up and operate CNC Grinder, EDM or Laser machines to ensure parts meet specifications and requirements, with attention to detail and quality. This position requires two years of production/shop experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate CNC Grinder, EDM or Laser machines ensuring parts conform to specification and requirements.
• Monitor parts dimensions using jigs, fixtures, gages, calipers, micrometers and height gages to assure conformity of parts.
• Complete paperwork required to document the quality of parts completed.
• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies, per customer order.
• Use precision measuring tools to check parts for correct fit and dimensions.

Barnes Aerospace West Chester OEM is seeking Machinists. In this role you will set-up and operate CNC Grinder, EDM or Laser machines ensuring parts conform to specification and requirements. This position requires considerable attention to detail to produce the highest level of quality and productivity against established standards. Your Expertise:

• Able to use basic math to add, subtract, multiply or divide and may work with fractions, decimals or percentages
• Able to follow simple instructions or directions
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing as to work requirements, work in progress or work completion
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Primary duty to set-up and operate CNC Grinder, EDM or Laser machines ensuring parts conform to specification and requirements.
