Qualifications

• At least a high school diploma/GED.
• Technical training certificate and/or 1 year experience in machining and running machine tools.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive and interpret instructions and prints for varying work assignments.
• Interpret drawings and sketches; plan procedures.
• Set up, program, and operate machine tools.
• Machine parts to precision tolerances and finishes.
• Assist journeymen and maintain a clean, safe work area.
