Job summary

CIRCOR Naval Solutions in Warren, MA seeks a Machinist to run a manual lathe on 2nd shift. You will operate specialized machinery to produce precision components per prints with tight tolerances. Training will occur on 2nd shift and a 15% differential applies for evening hours.

Requires HS diploma or GED and at least three years of experience, plus ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools. US Citizenship is required for DOD work.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED; machining concentration is a plus.
• Minimum of three years experience required.
• Candidate must be able to read blueprints/geometric tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathe.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Use controls and precision measurement tools.
• Perform lathe machining operations.
• Conduct quality checks.
• Monitor machine operations.
• Plan and perform rough and finish machining on CNC and manual machines.
• Perform setups independently.
• Operate advanced machine tools (CNC).
• Perform other duties as required.
