Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proven problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
• Solid employment history with verifiable professional references.
• Must successfully complete a post-offer physical, background check, and drug test.
• Knowledge of repair and maintenance in an industrial setting preferred.

Job Description

As a Machinist at Atlas Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, located in Chicago, IL, you will play a vital role in supporting our production operations through precision machining, maintenance, and setup of tools and equipment. This position is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety who enjoy hands‑on, detail‑oriented work in an industrial manufacturing environment. Physical Abilities

• Regularly lift and/or carry 50+ pounds.
• Proficient with hand and power tools, including Bridgeport and lathe equipment.
