Job summary

Roper Pump Company LLC is seeking a skilled CNC milling technician to perform setup, operation, and inspection of components using 3-axis and 4-axis CNC mills. You will read blueprints, use precision gauges, and ensure part quality while maintaining data accuracy and tool integrity.

The role requires one year of CNC milling experience, the ability to read and edit CNC programs, and a high school diploma or GED. A lift operator license for pallet jacks and forklifts is also required.

Qualifications

• One-year experience with a 3-axis or 4-axis CNC controlled mill.
• Able to read and edit CNC programs.
• Able to read blueprints, micrometers, dial indicators, gauges and vernier calipers to check and maintain work quality.
• High school diploma or GED and one year related experience.
• Obtains lift operator license for motorized pallet jack and forklift.

Responsibilities

• Gauge and maintain quality parts throughout machining process.
• Maintain quality standards for production parts according to written quality procedures and practices.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. This position regularly requires long hours and occasional weekend work as job duties demand.

Required Education and Experience

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

One-year experience with a 3-axis or 4-axis CNC controlled mill. Able to read and edit CNC programs.

Able to read, use and/or interpret blueprints, micrometers, dial indicators, gauges and vernier calipers to check and maintaining work quality

Flexible team member with strong communication skills

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

High school diploma or (GED) and one year related experience or a combination of education and experience. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Obtains lift operator license for motorized pallet jack and forklift.

Other duties may be assigned.
