Wanner International Ltd in Minneapolis, MN seeks an experienced Machinist for 2nd shift (Mon-Thurs). You will set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, inspect parts, and help maintain tooling and equipment to ISO QMS standards.

• 5+ years experience in lathe, mill and/or Swiss machining.

• Strong GD&T interpretation and tooling knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Plan machining by studying setup sheets, blueprints, materials inspection gauging, interpreting GD&T.
• Set tool registers, offsets, compensation and calculating requirements.
• Set up mills and lathes by following setup sheets.
• Load machines by lifting stock into position.
• Verify settings by measuring first-run part and samples as required.
• Maintain part quality by replacing worn tools and adhering to QA procedures.
• Maintain safe operations and follow ISO QMS procedures.
• Communicate information to next shift to maintain continuity.
• Update job knowledge by training opportunities.

Includes maintaining quality and safety standards, record keeping and maintenance of equipment and supplies.RESPONSIBILITIES1. Plan machining by studying setup sheets, blueprints, materials inspection gauging, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).2. Set tool registers, offsets, compensation and calculating requirements. Includes the use of basic math.3. Set up mills and lathes by following setup sheets.4. Load machines by lifting stock into position.5. Verify settings by measuring first-run part. Includes checking samples as required.6. Maintain part quality by replacing worn tools and adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.7. Maintain safe operations.8. Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements. Includes following manufacturer’s instructions calling for repairs when needed.9. Maintain continuity among work shifts by communicating necessary information to next shift.10. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.11.
