Job summary

Pentair plc is seeking a Machinist for the 1st shift in Delavan, WI. You will set up and program CNC lathe/mill operations to produce castings, following standard procedures and drawings. This role requires reading GD&T, precision measurement, and upkeep of coolant systems.

The position offers an hourly pay of $28–$30 with potential increases after skill proficiency and training. A $1,000 hiring bonus is included, payable in two installments. Benefits are provided with comprehensive plans.

Job Description: Machinist 1st shift - Delavan, WI **HIRING BONUS** At Pentair, you will work alongside passionate problem-solvers who are committed to the future of our planet. We have an opportunity for a Machinist III to join our Delavan, WI team.

You will perform operations necessary to set up, gage, and production run castings on a CNC lathe or Mill

• You will: Set-up machines where detail and operating procedures are standardized and obvious
• Utilize CNC equipment, manual machines, precision measuring equipment, overhead hoists, hand tools/power tools/air tools and refractometer
• Must be able to read part drawings using GD&T
• Know how to use precision measuring gages to check dimensions
• Maintain proper coolant ratios and levels and perform autonomous maintenance tasks
• Perform operations necessary to face, turn, bore, chamfer, grove, thread, drill, tap, and deburr a variety of materials and parts

Key Qualifications: Must have 2+ years of CNC Mill and Lathe setup and operation experience

• Must have GD&T and print comprehension and understand shop math
• Must be able to multi-task to keep production running smoothly

Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 40lbs.

Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available!): 1st Shift: 4:00am - 2:00pm Monday - Friday

Compensation: The hourly pay for this role is: $28 - $30/hr. DOE. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Determination of pay rate may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.

**HIRING BONUS** $1000 Hiring Bonus - The hiring bonus is payable at $500 after 90 days and $500 after 6 months of employment. This amount will be subject to repayment in full if your employment with Pentair terminates at any time within one year of your hire date.
