nVent seeks a skilled 1st Shift Machinist to set up and run CNC mills/lathe equipment, read engineering drawings, and produce precision parts in a fast-paced shop environment.
You will handle both production and short-run/repair work, with attention to tolerances and tooling choices, while maintaining a safe, clean work area and complying with procedures.

We are seeking a skilled 1st Shift Machinist with experience operating CNC mills and lathes, as well as manual machine tools. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working from prints, setting up jobs, holding tight tolerances, and producing quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role supports both production and short-run / repair work.
Shift Hours are Monday-Friday 5:45AM-2:15PM
Trade school, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on experience

Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $20.40 - $37.80 Per Hour Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
