Job summary

100Hires, Inc. in Wilton, IA is seeking a skilled Machinist to set up and operate manual machine tools, machine both new and used metal parts to tight tolerances, and perform layout work from blueprints.

You will calculate dimensions, feeds, speeds, and machining requirements; assemble and repair plant equipment; use precision measuring instruments; and support plant maintenance and fabrication efforts. Cranes operation and documentation are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience with manual machining and lathe operation.
• Blueprint reading and interpretation required.
• Proficiency in precision measurement and inspection.
• Capability to set up machines and troubleshoot.
• Fabrication and maintenance of plant equipment.
• Metalworking with various metals and close tolerance machining.

Responsibilities
