Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a skilled machinist in Wichita, KS to read drawings and interpret tolerances, performing precise machining on CNC and conventional equipment.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, operating horizontal lathes, vertical mills, and surface grinders, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. DEP or ASP in machining and two years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and instructions.
• Use precision tools to verify tolerances (Vernier, Micrometer, indicators).
• Perform manual operations such as drilling and deburring.
• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC and conventional machines.
• Machining on horizontal lathes, vertical mills, and surface grinders.
• Work well in teams and adapt to various tasks.
• Keep the work area clean and safe.
• Education: DEP in machining technique or ASP in machining on machine tools.
• Experience: at least 2 years in machining.

• Have the skills to perform manual work (drilling, deburring).

• Perform complex machining using horizontal lathes, vertical milling machines, and surface grinders.
• Teamwork and versatility.
