Luminator Technology Group is seeking a CNC Machinist at our Plano, TX headquarters. You will operate CNC lathes/mills, interpret blueprints, program and optimize machining operations, and ensure parts meet stringent quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Requires 2+ years of CNC experience, high school diploma or GED, and proficiency with G-code/M-code and CAD/CAM tools. U.S. Citizenship proof is implied by job posting. Competitive benefits offered.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience on a CNC lathe/mill.
• High school diploma or GED; technical schooling preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.

Responsabilités

• Operate CNC machines and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain acceptable reject and production rates.
• Verify part compliance using calipers and micrometers.
• Read blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine materials and dimensions.

Position is located at our corporate headquarters in Plano, TX.

What You’ll Do

• Operate CNC machines and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain acceptable reject and production rates.
• Verify part compliance using calipers and micrometers.
• Read blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine required materials and dimensions.
• Select and set up appropriate machines (e.g., lathes), position and load materials, and handle fixtures, jaws, chucks, spindles, collets, pads, and bar feeder inputs.
• Plan the sequence of steps for assignments, including programming input or corrections.
• Determine and program batch sizes and machine speeds.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years’ experience on a CNC lathe/mill

Education:

High school diploma/GED required. Technical school degree or certificate preferred

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in CNC machine programming (G-code, M-code).
• Experience with CAD/CAM software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam, or Autodesk Fusion).
• Ability to operate CNC machine digital interfaces, set parameters, and input production data.
• Basic computer literacy for file management, data entry, and use of standard office software (e.g., Outlook, Excel).
• Ability to use digital measurement tools and quality control software.
