The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

• Set up and operate a wide variety of machine tools such as boring bars, drills, grinders, jig bores, key seaters, lathes, milling machines, CNC/NC/MDI machines, presses, saws, and precision testing and measuring instruments to the manufacturer’s specification of accuracy.
• Fabricate, fit, and assemble parts to required tolerances and specifications using metallic and nonmetallic materials.
• Apply operating principles, purpose, proper application and design limitations of machine tools, machine assemblies, and mechanical devices, and understand the characteristics of materials used in machine fabrication, rebuilding and repair.
• Read and work to indicated accuracy, specifications and tolerances as detailed on engineering drawings, machine assembly prints, construction prints, sketches and equipment manuals.
• Use safe work methods to avoid personal injury, injury to co‑workers, or damage to company property.

Your Skills and Expertise

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent technical diploma, verified prior to start.

Additional Qualifications (helpful for success)

• Three years’ experience operating basic machining equipment (turning, milling, welding).
• Experience with CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled), lathe, and mill equipment.
• Experience with Siemens, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and Mazatrol control systems.
• Five years’ experience with NX CAD software.
• Five years’ experience with CNC machining equipment.

Starting base pay $31.05 per hour with potential to reach $44.37 per hour. The range is a good‑faith estimate; the specific compensation offered may vary based on knowledge, training, skills, location and experience.
