Qualifications

Job Description

NOW HIRING: Machinist | Racine, WI

We’re working with a well-established manufacturer in the Racine area that is looking to add a Machinist to their team. This is a 1st shift role supporting the molding department with hands‑on machine operation, repair, and fabrication work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate manual and CNC machine tools including lathes, milling machines, and grinders to repair and rebuild parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining sequence
• Set up and align tooling, fixtures, and attachments on various machines
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to maintain tolerances and quality
• Verify finished parts to spec using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
• Collaborate with engineering and production to resolve machining or assembly issues

Requirements

• Experience operating manual and/or CNC machine tools (lathe, mill, grinder)
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools
• Technical school training or equivalent hands‑on experience preferred

Pay: $30 to $35/hr

Hours: 1st shift
