Job summary

Disan Engineering Corp. is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing machine shop. You will program and operate CNC mills and lathes, read drawings, and follow blueprints to meet specifications.

Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, pass a drug test and background check, and have an HS diploma or equivalent; 2+ years CNC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Knowledge of CNC machinery, tooling, and programming.
• Preference for 2+ years of experience operating CNC mills and lathes.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC machines.
• Read drawings and follow blueprints.
• Follow travelers and work instructions.
• Sweep and remove debris, maintain a clean work area.
• Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies.
• Ensure conformance to specifications.
• Mark parts for identification.
• Scrape waste material from machine.
• Read and interpret gauges.
• Load and unload processing equipment.
• Take instructions from supervisors.
• Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.
