The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:

$45,000.00 - $67,400.00

Purpose Statement: To fabricate mechanical components for test equipment for use in manufacturing and product development prototypes.

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Performs work in a neat and professional manner, maintains work area and assists in maintaining the Plexus Engineering Solutions Lab to 6S standards.
  • Supports ongoing efforts to improve the fabrication process so that Plexus Technology Group remains competitive. Identify and offer suggestions for process improvement so as to improve quality and/or reduce cost.
  • Provide quality products and services to all internal and external customers.
  • Fabricate and assemble components/complete systems based on prints or as directed by engineering.
  • Support CAD/CAM efforts as needed and provide proper feedback to engineering teams
  • Owns equipment maintenance and stock items for the shop.

Education/Experience Qualifications

  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in machining or related field is required.
  • No Less than Three (3) years of related experience is required; Five (5) or more years of related experience is preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
