Job summary

Aerotek in Lafayette, IN is seeking an experienced Machinist to support manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and plant improvement projects. This role will produce replacement components, repair parts, tooling, and other items needed to keep production equipment operating effectively.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with both manual and CNC equipment. This permanent, onsite position is based in Lafayette and offers a first shift from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm with benefits and opportunities

Qualifications

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years in a machining environment.
• Working knowledge of G-code and M-Code.
• Proficiency with micrometers, dial calipers, dial indicators, and inspection or calibration equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with manual machining.
• Ability to operate and maintain the person machine.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
