Mancan is looking for a Machinist in the Girard area for a first shift position. Pay is based on experience and discussed at interview, with potential to reach up to $75,000 per year.

The role involves producing and modifying tooling, performing basic equipment maintenance, and setting up and operating lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses and powered hand tools. Applicants should read blueprints and ensure high quality tooling and organized workspace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of manual machining experience; 5 years preferred.
• Experience with manual lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses and powered hand tools.
• Maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Vocational training, apprenticeship or technical degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of related work experience preferred.
• Genuine mechanical aptitude with strong dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.

Mancan is looking for a Machinist in the Girard area. This is a 1st shift. Pay is based on experienced, and discussed at time of interview, but can be up to $75,000 yearly.

Produce and modify tooling, as well as perform basic building and equipment maintenance.

Sets up, operates and maintains shop equipment such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses and powered hand tools. They accurately interpret blueprints in their efforts to produce high quality tooling for manufacturing purposes. They keep their shared work space neat and organized for maximum tool life and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of manual machining experience is required (5 years preferred)
• o Manual lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses, powered hand tools
• Machine, vehicle and/or building maintenance experience preferred but not required
• Vocational Training, Apprenticeship or Technical Degree preferred

• Genuine mechanical aptitude
• Manual dexterity, accuracy and attention to detail
• Tool & die experience is preferred
