Machinist Job Responsibilities

• Operate traditional manual milling machine, lathe, saws, and using hand tools
• Operate CNC Lathes and Mills
• Constantly inspect work-in-progress
• Multi-task through various jobs and priorities
• Interpret engineering drawings
• Machinist follows instructions set for the by machine shop lead man.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of operating a manual milling machine, lathe, saws, and using hand tools.
• Interpret engineering drawings.
• Possess solid math skills, including 3D space geometry.
• Verifiable CNC Training.
• Minimum 2 years CNC on the job machining experience.
• Willing to attend CNC classes during personal time.
• Bilingual – English and Spanish helpful.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time; some sitting and bending.
