Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, 1–2 years in a machinist role, strong math and measurement skills, and the ability to operate both manual and CNC equipment.
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machinist
Location: Du Bois, PA
Pay Range: $33280 - $52000
Shift:
Operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision metal parts.
Review blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate production.
Shape materials including steel, aluminum, and plastic to meet design requirements.
Determine appropriate speeds, feeds, and cutting paths for machining processes.
Ensure workpieces are properly lubricated, cooled, and accurately machined according to blueprints and specifications.
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of experience in a machinist role preferred.
Proficiency in mathematics and blueprint reading.
Ability to take precise measurements using micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
Ability to operate manual and computer-controlled machinery effectively.
