ManpowerGroup is seeking a skilled Machinist in Pittsburg, KS. The role focuses on reading blueprints, setting up and operating manual machine tools including CNC lathes and mills, and ensuring precise measurements.
You will work with engineers and assembly staff in a safety‑driven, collaborative environment to produce quality parts. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 3–5 years of experience, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Reading and accurately interpreting blueprints.
Setting up and operating all types of manual machine tools including CNC lathes and CNC mills.
Accurately using typical machinist’s measuring devices.
Working cooperatively with the manufacturing team including engineers and assembly personnel.
Maintaining clean and orderly work areas while adhering to safety guidelines.
High school diploma.
Three to five years’ experience preferred.
Established comfort level with power-driven equipment.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
