Job description

This is a 1 year contract role with our direct client located in Baltimore. Position is first shift but may be required to work some OT.

A skilled tradesperson with 6+ years of experience who sets up and operates machine tools, such as lathes and milling machines, to produce precision metal parts according to blueprints and technical drawings. Responsibilities include reading designs, installing tools and workpieces, operating both manual and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, monitoring quality, performing routine maintenance, and inspecting finished parts for accuracy and defects. Key skills for a machinist are strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work with both manual and advanced machinery.
