Machinist

Location: Appleton, WI

Hourly Rate: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour

This position can be on 1st or 3rd shift, with options for 4x10 or 5x8 schedules based on the candidate's preference. A $3.50 shift differential applies for 3rd shift.

Responsibilities:

• Operate manual machines; CNC experience is a plus
• Inspect and measure parts for conformance using precision measuring equipment
• Perform inspections as per Work Instructions and report non-conformances to the supervisor
• Set up machines and perform daily shop duties
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Good mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read blueprints
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience operating manual machines such as bars, mills, lathes
• Knowledge of machining stainless steel, carbon steels, and cast iron
