$52,000 - $62,800/Year

Shifts:

2nd Shift

Hours:

3:00 PM - 1:00 AM Monday - Thursday, Every Other Friday 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Job Description:

Experienced Production Vertical Machinist needed. Enjoy 4-day work weeks with 3-day weekends! This is a direct hire role for a company in Appleton, WI.

CNC Vertical Mill Machinist Responsibilities:

1. Set tooling, hold, and program the machine control to manufacture precision products to quality specifications defined by blueprints efficiently.
2. Operate CNC equipment including 5-Axis milling machines, vertical and horizontal milling machines, lathes, Waterjet Machines, and horizontal saws.
3. Read and interpret shop orders, drawings, and instructions to produce parts on CNC equipment.
4. Use measuring tools to ensure conformance to specifications and maintain records and electronic documentation.
5. Perform basic equipment maintenance while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a job shop CNC machining environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining tools, processes, and concepts.
• Commitment to safety precautions to prevent injuries.
• Ability to produce, inspect, and check parts from start to finish.
• Proven ability to read blueprints and program complex parts.
• Skill in setting up machines and running parts with minimal errors.
• Positive attitude and interest in contributing to team and company success.
