Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 1 to 3 years manufacturing related experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good mathematical skills; able to reason and calculate times.
• Must be accurate and exhibit diplomacy and tact in dealing with others.

Responsibilities

• Works safely as a requirement of employment; keeps work area organized and hazard-free.
• Ensures part conformance to quality/drawing specifications; uses micrometers, calipers, gauges and hardness testers.
• Performs equipment run and preventive maintenance as required.
• Loads and unloads parts to be machined.
• Operates related equipment efficiently and communicates effectively.
• Performs other related duties as directed.
